First, brightness is everything. That fancy indoor LED panel might look amazing in a dark conference room, but take it outside, and it’ll disappear in direct sunlight. You need high-nit panels (think 5,000 nits or more) just to compete with the sun. Otherwise, good luck convincing anyone to squint at your content. Even then, placement matters. Angle it wrong, and glare turns your crystal-clear footage into a mirror reflecting the sky.
Ensuring Durability for Outdoor Use
Then there’s durability. Outdoor means wind, rain, dust, and nature trying to wreck your gear. A flimsy rental won’t cut it. Look for IP rated enclosures (IP65 is a safe bet) so that a surprise downpour doesn’t turn your video wall into a very expensive paperweight.
